A prime feature of Ray's personalized portraits is his ability to add special background images. In the
Manhattan Couple image, a "painting" on the wall behind the couple features the Midtown motel where the couple was married. Likewise, in the
Julia Louis-Dreyfus portrait, she is placed on a bridge over the Seine River, a small recreation of the Eiffel Tower in the background.
